Share market fell, trading amount limited to 2.5 billion

KATHMANDU: DEC. 16 – On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, the share market (NEPSE) index has decreased by 37.87 points.

The stock market had declined by 5 points to Rs 4,588.39 million 667 rupees on Wednesday.

By the end of the day, the NEPSE index had dropped 1.57 percent to 2376.74 points.

The Sensitive Index fell by 5.88 points to 453.53. Out of 13 subgroups traded, only one subgroup has increased while the indicators of all other subgroups have decreased.

A total of 53 lakh 79 thousand 860 shares of 224 companies were traded at a price of Rs 2.30 billion 17.51 million 968 rupees on Thursday. The share price of Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited has risen by 9.99 percent on this day.
