Due to an engine problem, Buddha Air’s plane made an emergency landing at Bharatpur

KATHMANDU: DEC. 16 – After a technical fault was found in the engine of Buddha Air’s 9N-AEE Beechcraft, an emergency landing was made at Bharatpur Airport.

According to Buddha Air, the plane was flying from Bharatpur to Kathmandu when it had an engine problem. At 1:16 p.m., the plane took off. Within two minutes after takeoff, an emergency landing was made at Bharatpur Airport.

According to the company, there were 19 passengers on board, including 17 adults, one child and one newborn. There were 3 crew members including the pilot, co-pilot and hostess.

All passengers and crew members are safe. Preparations are being made to bring the passengers to Kathmandu from another plane.
