Gagan remains at the top, intense competition in second
KATHMANDU: DEC. 16 – The counting of votes for the post of General Secretary of the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress is underway on Thursday.
Gagan Kumar Thapa got 381 votes and Bishwa Prakash Sharma got 231 votes during the 600-vote count.
Similarly, Pradip Poudel got 206 votes and Prakash Sharan Mahat got 201 votes. Another general secretary candidate Minendra Prasad Rijal is far behind. He got 101 votes.
