Shashank reached Baluwatar to congratulate Deuba

KATHMANDU: DEC. 16 – Nepali Congress General Secretary Shashank Koirala has reached Baluwatar to congratulate newly elected Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Before the 14th General Convention, Shashank, who was on the other side, was openly in favor of Deuba when the General Convention was issued. He then reached Baluwatar on Thursday morning and congratulated Deuba.

Shashank had backed Deuba even during the second phase of voting for the presidency. However, his brother Dr. Shekhar Koirala lost the presidential election by 907 votes with Deuba.
