Nepal defeated Sri Lanka in ongoing U-19 Women’s Football Championship

KATHMANDU: DEC. 15 – Nepal has defeated Sri Lanka 6-0 in the ongoing U-19 Women’s Football Championship in Bangladesh. In their second match of the SAAF U-19 Women’s Football, Nepal emerged victoriously.

Most of the time, Nepal kept on attacking Sri Lanka.

Rashmi Kumari Ghising gave Nepal an early lead in the fifth minute by beating a defender and scoring a powerful long-range from outside the box.

Less than a minute after the first goal was scored, Sabita Rana Magar doubled Nepal’s lead.

Menuka Kumari Ale Magar, who was in the goal line, gave the final touch to Sabita Rana Magar’s cross to give Nepal a 3-0 lead.

In the 47th minute, Rajani Thokar gave Nepal a 4-0 lead in the 47th minute by heading the one-drop ball in the cross of Saloni Rana Magar. Saloni Rana Magar scored the fifth goal in the 52nd minute to widen Nepal’s lead. Her powerful strike from outside the box turned into a goal.

The sixth and second individual goal for Nepal was scored by Rashmi Kumari Ghising in the 86th minute. Ghisingh scored an attractive goal through a free-kick.
