Kathmandu Liaison Office of the CM of State 1 closed
BIRATNAGAR: DEC. 15 – Chief Minister of State 1 Rajendra Rai, who had been staying at the Rastriya Bank mansion for some time, has relocated to the official residence. Chief Minister Rai had moved to the building of the Morang Sunsari Irrigation Project.
Talking to media persons after moving to the residence, Rai claimed that the residence of the Chief Minister and the ministers would be built in the government building. Rai said that renting a private building would increase the government’s expenditure.
“The vacant government building is being searched,” said Chief Minister Rai. “Soon other ministers will be accommodated in the government building.”
Chief Minister Rai also said that the liaison office and quarters of the Chief Minister in Kathmandu have been closed. He said that he would stay in the government building as it was available while going to Kathmandu.
