Nepal reports 264 fresh COVID-19 cases, 2 new deaths

ITAHARI: DEC. 14 – Nepal reported another 264 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the national total to 824,764, according to the health ministry.

Of the confirmed cases, 229 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 35 from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were two COVID-19-related deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to  11,559.

In the meantime, 362 patients have returned home after fully healing from COVID-19, bringing the number of recovery cases to 807,516. The recovery rate is 97.9 per cent.

There are 5,689 active cases of COVID-19 in Nepal.
