Sher Bahadur on chair, Shekhar on stairs

KATHMANDU: DEC. 14 – The second phase of voting is underway for the election of Nepali Congress President. After the ongoing voting in the National Assembly in Kathmandu, Congress will get its own president.

Candidates Sher Bahadur Deuba and Dr. Shekhar Koirala are also at the polling station. They are asking for votes from the delegates.

Chairs have been arranged for Deuba at the polling station while Shekhar is standing on the stairs asking for votes.

In the first phase, 76 votes were cast in the election held on Monday. According to the Election Committee, 76 out of 4,679 votes cast were invalid.
