6 ordinances tabled amid UML slogans
KATHMANDU: DEC. 14 – Six ordinances have been tabled in the House of Representatives. The ordinances have been tabled among the UML MPs.
In the first meeting of the 10th session which started on Tuesday, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Prasad Badu said that Nepal Police and State Police [Operation, Supervision and Coordination] Ordinance First Amendment, 2078, Acid and Other Hazardous Chemicals [Regulation] Ordinance, 2078, Social Security [First Amendment] Ordinance, 2078, Railway Ordinance, 2078, Ordinance to amend some Acts against Sexual Violence, Ordinance, 2078 and Ordinance to amend some Acts related to Criminal Offenses and Criminal Procedure, 2078.
While Minister Badu was presenting the ordinance, the slogan of UML MP was running. UML has been obstructing the parliament saying that Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has played a role in the split of his party.
UML lawmakers chanted slogans in all the sittings of the 9th session of the parliament. They also chanted slogans at the first meeting of the 10th General Convention which started on Tuesday.
