Kalyan also decided to Deuba, Shekhar alone

KATHMANDU: DEC. 14 – Kalyan Gurung, the fifth candidate in the Nepali Congress presidential election who received 22 votes in the first round, has also supported Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Gurung stated that he decided to support Sher Bahadur after consulting with his friends. “I also support Sher Bahadur Deuba. ‘After talks with my friends, I came to this decision.’

Sher Bahadur and Dr. Shekhar Koirala are competing in the second round of voting. Leaders Bimalendra Nidhi and Prakash Man Singh, who dropped out of the presidential race from the first round, are also supporting Deuba. Kalyan is also added to this.

Besides, all the candidates except Shekhar have supported Deuba. Meanwhile, leaders of the Shekhar faction are engaged in discussions. While they all support Deuba they are discussing whether to go to the polls or not.
