KATHMANDU: DEC. 14 – Sher Bahadur Deuba has started his strategy after the re-election to be held again for the post of Nepali Congress President. Deuba has started sending the leaders of his party to the top leaders.

Deuba has sent Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand to his residence in Chaksibari to meet presidential candidate Prakash Man Singh. It is said that he sought help during the meeting. According to sources, Deuba has offered Singh as the Prime Minister. He is proposing to make Prakash Man, who won the presidency, the prime minister.

According to the final results, Singh, who was in third place, got 371 votes. With his support, Deuba, who lost by 82 votes in the first round, will easily become the president. Now, in the second round of voting, there will be competition between Deuba who got 2258 votes and Shekhar Koirala who got 1749 votes. In this case, Deuba needs the support of either Singh or Nidhi. While Shekhar needs the support of both.

Nidhi, who left the Deuba group and ran for president, is unlikely to support Deuba. So he has searched Nidhi’s support. However, a source close to Singh’s group said that the decision would be taken only after serious discussions.
