Investors angry over Prachanda’s anti-stock market rhetoric

KATHMANDU: DEC. 13 – Investors have become indignant after CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda said that the investment of capital in the capital market is a developed form of imperialism.

The State Five Share Investors Forum has protested against such a statement from a person in a dignified position like the party Chairperson.

According to the forum, the anti-share market rhetoric from a person in a dignified position like the party Chairperson in the government, i.e. calling the capital market a financial monopoly capital market and newly developed imperialism, discouraged investors against open economy and liberalism.

The stock market has been steadily declining due to such a statement made by Prachanda last Saturday.
