By 1:30 p.m., 380 votes were cast

KATHMANDU: DEC. 13 – In today’s election for the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress, 380 votes have been cast till 1:30 pm on Monday.

According to the Election Committee, 200 votes were cast in the National Assembly House and 180 votes were cast in Bhrikuti Mandap.

Presidential candidates Sher Bahadur Deuba, Shekhar Koirala, Prakash Man Singh and Bimalendra Nidhi have already cast their votes in the election which started at 12 noon.

Similarly, candidates including Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar and Sujata Koirala, leaders Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat, Sunil Bahadur Thapa, Bal Krishna Khand and Uma Regmi have already cast their votes.

Polling stations have been set up in three places so that more people can cast their votes at once.
