26 leaders proposed in UML standing committee (with list)
KATHMANDU: DEC. 12 – Chairperson of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) KP Sharma Oli has proposed a 45-member standing committee. At a meeting held at the German House in Bhaktapur on Saturday, Chairperson Oli proposed a 45-member committee.
According to a leader, Oli has recommended the names of 26 leaders besides the office bearers. Among them are Ghanshyam Bhusal, who was defeated for the post of vice-chairperson, and Prabhu Sah, a former Maoist legacy leader who did not get a seat in the secretary.
Similarly, Bishal Bhattarai, chief whip of the UML parliamentary party, who was nominated as a central member today, has also been included in the proposed leader in the standing committee.
