Publication of the final list of candidates
KATHMANDU: DEC. 12 – The final list of candidates for office bearers and central members of the 14th General Convention has been published by Congress. The list of candidates has been published by the Congress Election Committee.
According to the published list, there are 5 candidates for president, 7 candidates for vice-president, 7 candidates for general secretary, 6 candidates for general secretary, and 19 candidates for joint general secretary.

On Saturday, 548 candidates had registered for 134 posts, including office bearers and central members of the new Central Committee. Out of them, 2 candidates for office bearers and 55 candidates for central members have withdrawn their nominations.
Ananda Prasad Dhungana and Ramesh Rijal of State 2 are unopposed as central members.
