Meen Bishwakarma withdraws candidature

KATHMANDU: DEC. 12 – Meen Bahadur Bishwakarma, who has registered his nomination as a central member of the Nepali Congress, has announced to withdraw his candidature. He withdrew his candidature for the post after registering his nomination on Saturday from the Dalit open side.

Bishwakarma has written a letter to the Central Election Committee requesting to remove the name from the list of candidates. Twenty-seven candidates had filed nominations for five Dalit open central members. The time for withdrawal of nominations of candidates is till 11 am today.
