Choose a new leadership using the vote of conscience : Shekhar

KATHMANDU: DEC. 12 – Dr. Shekhar Koirala, who has given his candidature for the post of Nepali Congress President, has urged to use the vote of conscience. Announcing the pledge letter, he urged to select new leadership using discretionary vote.

Mentioning that the future of the country is in the hands of Congress, Dr. Koirala urged the voters to use their discretionary vote in the selection of leadership. He said that Congress needed new leadership for the transformation of the society.

Voting for the leadership selection under the ongoing 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress is going on tomorrow. A total of 548 candidates have entered the election field to reach the Central Working Committee. They have registered nominations for 134 posts from the president to a central member on Saturday.
