Preparations are underway to vaccinate children

KATHMANDU: DEC. 12 – Preparations are underway to vaccinate nine and a half million children under the age of 18 in Humla. Moderna vaccines are being given to children to reduce the potential risk of the coronavirus epidemic.

According to the District Health Office, Humla, 9,621 children are currently receiving the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. The vaccine will be given from Dec. 19 t0 29.

One hundred vaccination centers have been identified in seven villages of the district for the vaccination.

For this, a person who has acquired vaccination skills and health volunteers in the villages will be mobilized.
