I am a candidate, I will remain: Bishwa Prakash

KATHMANDU: DEC. 11 – Nepali Congress leader and party spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that he will remain the candidate for the post of General Secretary. In a brief conversation with Makalu Khabar, spokesperson Sharma said, “I am and will remain a candidate.”

As there are many aspirants for the post of General Secretary from the establishment party and leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula’s faction also has to be given the post of General Secretary, Deuba is being encouraged to choose a candidate including General Secretary in his team.

Earlier, Deuba had told spokesperson Sharma that he should be made the joint general secretary. However, he said he would not give up his claim. Sharma had reached Sundarijal on Sept. 10 and announced his candidature for the post of General Secretary.
