No entery without security checks at Congress Convention venue

KATHMANDU: DEC. 10 – The 14th general convention of the Nepali Congress has started from today. Delegates have started coming to the general convention which started at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu.

Those entering the Congress convention venue are barred from entering without a security check.

There is a heavy police presence around Bhrikuti Mandap for security. Police are conducting a strict security check of the participants and allowing them to enter the venue.

Vehicles have been banned from entering the exhibition route since morning to facilitate traffic management. Vehicles other than the ones required from the National Assembly and Padmoday Mode are not allowed on the exhibition route.
