Congress General Convention Inauguration Program [Photos]

KATHMANDU: DEC. 10 – The 14th general convention of the Nepali Congress has started from today. Although the schedule has been changed many times, the general convention has finally started from today.

The inauguration of the convention is starting at 1 pm at Bhrikuti Mandap with the slogan ‘Enthusiasm, Unity, Transformation: Let’s Make the 14th General Convention a Success’.

The 13th general convention held in Falgun, 2072 BS (February 2016) was also held at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu.

From the General Convention, 4,700 delegates will select a 134-member Central Working Committee with 13 office bearers including a chairperson, two deputy chairpersons, two general secretaries and eight joint general secretaries.

The treasurer is to be selected by the central members.
