We will give justice to the victims of the conflict: PM Deuba
KATHMANDU: DEC. 10 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his commitment to bring justice to the victims of the conflict. Speaking at the 73rd International Human Rights Day program organized by the National Human Rights Commission Nepal in Kathmandu on Friday, Prime Minister Deuba said that justice would be given to the victims of the conflict.
He expressed his commitment to providing justice to the victims of the conflict, even if it means compensating the victims. Stating that the world is praising the work being done by Nepal, Prime Minister Deuba said that the government is ready to do necessary work related to human rights.
“We have given a lot of human rights,” he said. We have given reservation and rights to the backward, women, Dalits and Janajati. A lot of human rights issues have happened in Nepal. The victims of the conflict, the people who are saddened by the conflict, we will still do justice to the TRC, truth-telling and so on. We are trying to give justice to the families and members of the conflict victims even if we pay good compensation.
Our work has been praised by the world. If there is such a conflict in Nepal, we have started the talks by leading it ourselves. Our friends who were in emergency yesterday have come to the ministry today. We have to reassure everyone. It has been proven that Nepal itself can do a lot of things. If there are any issues, we will look into them. ‘
