Two killed in road accident
BIRATNAGAR: DEC. 10 – Two people have been killed in a road accident in Morang district. Munna Kumar Sahani, 34, of Rampur Chowk of Biratnagar Metropolitan City was injured when a tractor (Ko 2 Ta 7139) heading from east to west hit a bicycle heading in the opposite direction.
Sahani died on the way to Biratnagar’s Koshi Hospital, according to police. The tractor and its driver, Mukesh Kamat, 19, of the same location, are under the control of the Morang District Police Office.
A scooter (P1-04001 Pa 6460) heading south of Budhiganga Rural Municipality-2 Tanki of Morang has met with an uncontrollable accident. Suraj Khanal, 26, of Morang Urlabari Municipality-4 was injured when his scooter collided with a divider. According to police, he died at night while undergoing treatment at Birat Medical College, Tanki.
