MG Hector in Nepali market, starting price 59.99 lakhs

KATHMANDU: DEC. 9 – Paramount Motors Pvt Ltd, the sole official distributor of MG (Morris Garage) Motors in Nepal, unveiled the much-awaited Hector SUV car at its Naxal showroom at a formal function on Thursday.

The price of the vehicle was made public at the event and the keys of the vehicle were also handed over to the customer.

According to the company, the 1.5-liter turbocharged inter-cooled engine is available in both MT and CVT variants. The value of MG Hector is 59.99 million and the value of hectare CVT is 64.99 million.

MG Hector is already acclaimed in India for its safety, style and functionality. For the first time in the SUV category, there are bold front grille, projector headlamps, and stylish R17 silver alloys, electric sunroof, push-button start, electric parking brake, 26.4 cm HD touchscreen system and many more.

Compared to other variants of SUV, it is claimed to be suitable for Nepali roads and traffic. This SUV made in India is available in all dealers in Nepal. This is a new mid-spec variant of Hector that is among the low-spec and top-spec trims of mid-size SUVs available in the market.

According to the company, MG Hector is the most awaited SUV in Nepal. MG Hector’s attractive design, modern and smart features are believed to address the expectations of the customers. Its new model will strengthen the image of the SUV and fulfill the desire of the customer to ride a modified SUV.

The event was also a collaboration between the Zonta Club of Kathmandu and Paramount Motors Pvt. As part of its corporate social responsibility, Paramount has provided financial assistance of Rs 1 million to the Zonta Club of Kathmandu. The Zonta Club of Kathmandu will use the money to conduct awareness campaigns, emphasizing the need to raise voice against domestic violence, workplace violence, public violence and child marriage.

At the signing ceremony of the agreement session held on the same day, Paramount Motors presented Rs. 1 million cheques handed over.
