UML central committee meeting to be held in Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU: DEC. 8 – The second central committee meeting of the CPN (UML) is scheduled to be held in Bhaktapur. UML Central Office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang informed that the meeting would be held at the German Home at Gatthaghar in Bhaktapur due to lack of space. Earlier, meeting used to stay at the Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Lalitpur.

The formation of a standing committee, formation of a politburo and formation of various departments are on the agenda of the party’s central committee meeting on Dec. 11 and 12.

The 10th National General Convention of the CPN (UML) held from Nov. 26 to 30 had elected a 301-member central committee headed by Chairperson KP Sharma Oli.
