Ram Chandra reached to Sitaula mansion after leaving his party meeting
KATHMANDU: DEC. 8 – Senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel has left the meeting of his group and reached the residence of Krishna Prasad Sitaula. Poudel, who had left the meeting place to eat, reached the meeting which was going on at Sitaula’s residence.
As the general convention is approaching, the Sitaula group is also engaged in discussions. Sitaula is holding discussions with the leaders of his group. Leader Padel also attended the meeting. From today’s discussion, Sitaula is deciding whether to run for office or not.
However, Sitaula is almost certain to support Sher Bahadur Deuba as the incumbent president. Sitaula himself has not even talked about running for the post of president. During the region, district and state conventions, alliances were formed between President Deuba and former General Secretary Sitaula’s group in many places.
By supporting Deuba in the 13th General Convention, Sitaula has said that he will help him this time as well.
