KATHMANDU: DEC. 8 – Manchester City have lost their last game in the Champions League. Despite the defeat, City managed to enter the knockout stage by remaining at the top of Group A.

The last match against RB Leipzig was played in a closed stadium due to COVID-19. City lost 2-1 to RB Leipzig.

Dominik Szoboszlai of Leipzig gave the lead to City. Leipzig scored in the 24th minute and Andre Silva’s second goal in the 71st minute.

But City returned the first goal in the 76th minute through Riyad Mahrez’s goal in an attempt to get back into the game but there were no more goals from either side. City were limited to 10 players in the 82nd minute. Kyle Walker was sent off after receiving a red card.
