Everton beats Arsenal

KATHMANDU: DEC. 7 – Despite an early lead, Arsenal have lost to Everton. Everton defeated Arsenal 2-1 in extra time, with Demarai Gray scoring the game-winning goal. Everton has won nine Premier League games this season.

Martin Odegaard’s goal early in the first half gave Arsenal lead. Richarlison equalized with 11 minutes remaining in the game.

However, Richarlison’s two goals were not recognized in VAR. With the win, Everton has risen to 12th place in the 18 league points table. Arsenal are seventh with 23 points.
