Selection of players for Asia Cup Cricket
KATHMANDU: DEC. 6 – The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has chosen 20 players to compete in the ACC U-19 Men’s Asia Cup Cricket Tournament. CAN has invited 20 players to a closed training session for the competition, which is set to take place in December.
According to the CAN, 20 players who excelled in yesterday’s U-19 national men’s cricket championship have been invited in for exclusive training. The Nepali squad will begin training on Wednesday, according to CAN.
The Asia Cup Cricket will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from December 20 to January 2. Along with Nepal, the organizers UAE, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Kuwait will participate in the competition.
Dev Khanal, Mohammad Hussain, Wazir Ahmed, Santosh Karki, Bivek Yadav, Bivek Rana Magar, Tilak Raj Bhandari, Sonu Ansari, Dipesh Kandel and Arjun Yadav have been selected for the closed training.
Similarly, Kamal Pariyar, Anuj Kumar Chunara, Prakash Jaisi, Basanta Karki, Arjun Saud, Sher Malla, Rahul Bhandari, Gulshan Jha, Bipin Shahi and Aadil Ansari have been selected.
