Thapa did not attend the RPP’s swearing-in ceremony

KATHMANDU: DEC. 5 – The RPP’s outgoing chairperson, Kamal Thapa, did not attend the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected office bearers and central members.

Thapa was not present at the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan Kamaladi certificate presentation and swearing-in event for newly elected office bearers and central members. Thapa, who had accused former king Gyanendra Shah of ‘naked meddling’ in his defeat as chairperson, did not attend the swearing-in event.

Pashupati Shamsher JB Rana and Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani, the outgoing chairpersons, are present. Rana supported Thapa, while Lohani supported Lingden.
