Lingden elected as RPP chairperson after defeating Thapa

KATHMANDU: DEC. 5 – Rajendra Lingden has been elected as the chairperson of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP). Lingden defeated Kamal Thapa by a margin of 119 votes.

According to RPP leader Janak Pathak, Lingden got 1817 votes and Thapa got 1618 votes. 431 votes were cast. The election committee is preparing to announce with official votes.
