Nepal reports 238 new COVID-19 infections in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: DEC. 4 – In the last 24 hours, 238 more people have been infected with the coronavirus.
According to the Ministry of Health, coronavirus infection was confirmed in 220 people and 182 people in 1,502 antigen tests during 5,295 PCR tests conducted across the country.
Along with this, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 917,979.
Similarly, five more people have died due to coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 11,540.
About 392 patients have been released after recovery, bringing the total number of cured to 84,108.
At present, there are 6,744 active infected isolation and 98 quarantined people in Nepal, according to the ministry.
