Today is the last solar eclipse of the year 2021
KATHMANDU: DEC. 4 – There will be a solar eclipse today. This solar eclipse is considered to be the last solar eclipse of the English year.
According to the US space agency NASA, this solar eclipse will be visible from different parts of the southern hemisphere of the earth. However, this eclipse will not be visible from Nepal. As Nepal is not in the southern hemisphere of the earth, this solar eclipse is not visible from Nepal.
When the moon comes between the earth and the sun, then the sun is eclipsed. The moon may have completely or partially covered the eclipse visible from the earth. The eclipse will be visible from Antarctica, South Africa, Australia, South America, Namibia, Chile, New Zealand and the southern part of the Atlantic.
The eclipse will begin at 11:15 a.m. Nepali time and end at 3:22 p.m. According to Surya Prasad Dhungel, member secretary of the Panchang Adjudicating Committee, since it is not visible in Nepal. You can, however, view it on live streaming on different channels. NASA said the live streaming of the solar eclipse will start at 12 p.m., IST. In about half an hour, the eclipse will commence and will reach its totality at 1:14 p.m. IST.
