Heavy fog in the valley, possibility of rain and snow in these areas

KATHMANDU: DEC. 4 – The westerly winds have changed the weather across the country. It has been seen thick fog in the valley while it has been raining in the hilly areas and snowfall in the high mountainous areas.

According to meteorologist Shanti Kandel, the weather is generally partly cloudy in the hilly areas of State 1 and other States and generally clear in the rest of the country. “There is thick fog in the Kathmandu Valley and the Terai region,” she said. “There is no possibility of heavy rain and snow.” The fog will clear in the afternoon. ‘

Afternoon: There will be partial to normal cloud cover in the hilly areas of State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki States and there will be partial cloud cover in other parts of the country. Afternoon: There will be partial to moderate cloud cover in the far west and Karnali region and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light rain in a few places in the hilly terrain of Far West, Karnali and Lumbini States and light snowfall in a few places in the high hills and mountains of Far West and Karnali States.

Night: There will be partial to moderate cloud cover in Far West, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki States and there will be partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in some places in hilly areas of Far West and Karnali and in hilly areas of Lumbini and Gandaki States. Night: Partly to moderate cloud cover in Karnali and Gandaki and partly cloudy in the hilly areas of State 1, Bagmati, Lumbini and Far West States. The rest of the region will be generally clear. Light showers are likely in a few places in the hilly areas of Karnali and Gandaki and in one or two places in the hilly areas of Lumbini and Far West. Light snowfall is also expected in one or two places in the high hills and mountains of the far west, Karnali and Gandaki States.
