In just two months, Hamro Patro app received almost ten million remittances
KATHMANDU: DEC. 3 – According to the company, more than 10 million remittances have reached Nepal using the Hamro Patro app. Hamro Patro, which offers a variety of services through the same app, only launched this service to users two months ago.
Shankar Upreti, CEO of Hamro Patro Inc., appreciated the users and partners on this occasion.
‘It gives us more encouragement to do more,’ I would want to express my gratitude to all users for their support and confidence. Our purpose is to enable Nepali users to send money to Nepal at a reduced cost. We are also performing research to launch this facility from Australia and Japan in the near future. Similarly, Shankar Upreti stated that the immediate transfer service (in which money is placed in Nepal’s bank account or mobile app quickly after it is transferred) will be available soon.
According to the company, with the debut of the remit service, it has also given unique deals in order to attract consumers. As a result, users will be able to send money to Nepal for free the first three times they use Hamro Patro.
Hamro Patro app is breaking new ground in Nepali app development. Previously, Hamro Patro was the first Nepali app to reach 10 million downloads, with 1 million and 5 million respectively. The app, which was built for iOS in 2010 and had a calendar viewing and date modification function, was released on the Android Play Store in 2012.
