Slogan by Poudel’s faction after not being allowed to speak in the state convention

POKHARA: DEC. 2 – The inauguration of the first state convention is underway in Gandaki. Leaders and cadres of other establishments have protested on the platform saying that their party leaders were not allowed to speak at the inauguration.

Here, Arjun Jaishi has been given the ticket from Deuba’s faction. As he was a central member, he was allowed to speak. He asked for votes in his speech. After that, the controversy of others started on the stage. Leaders and their cadres including aspirants Devraj Chalise, Yagya Bahadur Thapa and Shukra Raj Sharma have staged a demonstration against Deuba’s faction demanding a platform.

After that, they were allowed to speak in the program. Now the program is running continuously. The aspirants have expressed their displeasure saying that the celebration fee has also been increased.

The nomination fee has been fixed at Rs 91,000 for president, Rs 61,000 for vice-chairperson, Rs 51,00 for general secretary, Rs 41,000 for joint general secretary and Rs 31,000 for members.
