Congress Karnali State Convention begins, Inauguration by General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka

SURKHET: DEC. 2 – The state convention of the Nepali Congress has started from Thursday in Birendranagar, the capital of Karnali state.

General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka has inaugurated the convention. The state convention for the upcoming leadership selection has started across the country from Thursday.

Rajiv Bikram Shah and Lalit Jung Shahi from the establishment party have claimed for the post of state president while Bhupendra Jung Shahi and Deepak Jung Shah from senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel’s party have claimed for the post.

Both the parties have been trying to finalize one candidate for the post of president but no decision has been reached so far.
