Announcement of Abdul Sattar’s candidature for Congress central member

KATHMANDU: DEC. 2 – Abdul Sattar has announced his candidature for the post of the central member at the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress. Sattar of Gorkha has announced his candidature for the central member from the Muslim reservation quota. He is also the founding chairperson of the Nepal Muslim Association.

According to the Congress constitution, there will be four members in the Central Committee from the Muslim reservation including one Joint General Minister, two male members and one female member.

Sattar says he will go to the center and play an important role in ensuring the representation of the Muslim community at every level of the party. He is a general convention representative and a member of the general committee from Gorkha.
