KATHMANDU: DEC. 2 – Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are held to a goalless draw by Nice at home stadium. PSG suffered an unexpected draw in Wednesday night’s match. This is the first time PSG have been held to a goalless draw at home stadium this season.

All goal attempts by Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe against Nic in the French Ligue 1 failed. PSG had made many attempts to score without Neymar. They hit 22 shots at the post but could not score. This is the first time since 2016 that PSG has failed to score despite striking 22 shots.

Neymar, on the other hand, will be out for eight weeks due to an ankle injury. Even after the draw, Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG has maintained a 12-point lead at the top. Before the game, PSG put their Argentine forward Lionel Messi in front of the Ballon d’Or supporters for the seventh time. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma also won the Best Goalkeeper Trophy Yashin Trophy in front of the supporters.

This is PSG’s third win-free trip this season. PSG, which has drawn 2 matches, has lost 1 match. PSG has scored 41 points from 16 games in the table. Second-placed Marseille have 29 points from 15 games. Similarly, Rennais has 28 points while in fourth place Nis has 27 points.
