NEPSE increased, transaction amount did not increase

KATHMANDU: DEC. 1 – The stock market (NEPSE) index rose by 5.28 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

By the close of trading on Wednesday, the NEPSE index had risen 0.20 percent to 2633.65 points.

The Sensitive Index rose 0.89 points to 496.74. Out of 13 subgroups traded, only 4 subgroups have declined while indicators of all other subgroups have increased.

A total of 53 lakh 10 thousand 215 shares of 223 companies were traded at a price of Rs 2 billion 742 million 85 thousand 704 rupees on Wednesday.

The share price of Samling Power Company Limited has risen by 9.99 percent on this day. The share price of Nyadi Hydropower Company has also risen by 9.99 percent.
