Hearings was selected from the lottery system at SC

KATHMANDU: DEC. 1 – Judges in the Supreme Court have been assigned a case by the lottery system. For the first time in the history of modern courts in Nepal, the case has been decided by the Supreme Court.

On the first day, a total of 10 benches including two single benches have been formed.

Judges Meera Khadka and Kumar Chudal have been assigned a single bench. Similarly, Tanka Bahadur has been acquitted in the bench of Senior Judge Deepak Kumar Karki.
