UML General Convention: Ghanshyam Bhusal defeated as Vice Chairperson

KATHMANDU: NOV. 30 – Ghanshyam Bhusal has been defeated in the election for the new leadership held at the tenth general convention of the CPN-UML. Bhusal lost with 725 votes.

Similarly, Astalaxmi Shakya got 1976 votes, Surendra Pandey got 1925 votes, Subas Chandra Nemwang got 1865 votes, Bishnu Poudel got 1856 votes, Yuvraj Gyawali got 1842 votes and Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal got 1768 votes.

At the same time, Bhusal, who was contesting against the unanimous list of KP Sharma Oli, has been defeated.
