KATHMANDU: NOV. 30 – KP Sharma Oli has won the election for the post of chairperson by getting 1808 votes in the election held for the new leadership in the tenth general convention of CPN-UML. Another candidate for the post, Bhim Rawal, polled 213 votes.
In the election held in Sauraha of Chitwan, Chairperson Oli has won by 1595 votes. The election committee has not yet formally announced the results.
Voting was held for 50 different posts under the General Convention. Two thousand 153 delegates had voted in the general convention. Voting was held for 50 different posts in the General Convention. At the General Convention, voting was held for the Central Members including the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary.
