Extra Rs. 15 million cost added after UML National Congress prolongs

CHITWAN: NOV. 30 – The 10th general convention of the CPN-UML, which has been going on since Nov. 26, is not over yet. Expenditure has also increased as the General Convention has been extended.

UML office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang said that the expenditure was around Rs 15 million more than the estimated expenditure. The estimated cost of the three-day convention was Rs 70 million.

However, Tamang said that the expenses have also increased after five days. “It is estimated that the expenditure has increased by Rs 15 million by all means,” said Tamang.

He said that an attempt was made to reach an agreement by 4 am but the election was held only after the absence.
