There will be inter-cooperative futsal competition
KATHMANDU: NOV. 29 – An inter-cooperative futsal tournament is to be held in Kathmandu. The competition organized by Ujyalo Sampad Savings & Credit Co-operative Ltd. will be held at Manakamana Futsal Ground in Gokarneshwor Municipality-4, Makalbari on December 2 and 3.
The competition is being held under the slogan ‘Let’s strengthen cordiality and cooperation through sports’. Chairperson of the organizing body Ramesh Prasad Timalsina said that such competitions were organized to highlight the mutual understanding, friendship and close working relations among the organizations affiliated to the cooperative movement. He also said that the futsal between the cooperatives will help in further cooperation among the cooperatives in the coming days.
The first-place winner will get Rs 50,000, the second-place winner will get Rs 30,000 and the third-place winner will get Rs 20,000, said Nabin Nepal, chief executive officer of the organization. Co-operatives wishing to participate in the competition have to register their names during office hours on Thursday, Dec. 11.
