Rawal, Bhusal and Acharya were not in Oli’s team
KATHMANDU: NOV. 29 – Leaders Bhim Rawal, Ghanshyam Bhusal and Bhim Acharya have not been included in the list of office-bearers announced by Chairperson KP Sharma Oli at the closed session of the 10th National General Convention of the CPN-UML in Chitwan. Although a ten-point agreement was reached, the other ten brothers in the UML were handed over to the office bearers, but they bypassed all three.
Bhim Rawal has been saying that he will register a candidate to challenge Oli for the post. Bhusal is the claimant of the vice-chairperson. Similarly, Bhim Acharya was earlier the party secretary. Elections are expected to be held after Rawal and Bhusal are not included in the list.
The election program will start from 8 o’clock today. Oli, who has the sole right to announce the committee from the closed session, has elected Ishwar Pokharel as the chairman, Shankar Pokharel as the senior vice-chairman and Shankar Pokharel as the general secretary.
