Bogati elected NC president of Kanchanpur
DHANGADHI: NOV. 28 – Padam Bogati has been elected as the President of Nepali Congress Kanchanpur.
Bogati defeated his nearest rival Bahadur Singh Thapa and was elected as the president. Bogati got 806 votes while Thapa got only 715 votes.
Out of the total 1571 votes cast, 50 votes were invalid. Bogati leader Ramesh Lekhak will be close while Thapa NP will be close to Saud.
Similarly, Min Bahadur Singh (786) and Harichandra Rana (763) have been elected as vice presidents. Janak Dhami (680) and Siddharaj Bhatta (680) have been elected as secretaries. Similarly, Nafusingh Saud (726) and Pushkal Chaudhary (674) have been elected as joint secretaries.
Though leaders and Lekhak appear weak in ward and regional conventions, they are strong in district conventions. The author had nominated NP close Bogati as the president.
