NBA urged CPN-S to impeach CJ Rana
KATHMANDU: NOV. 28 – The delegation of the Nepal Bar Association has submitted its concept paper to the CPN (Unified Socialist).
The Bar, which is in agitation demanding the resignation of CJ Rana, met top leaders of the CPN-S today while handing over letters of commitment to the parties.
Bar’s team met the chairperson of the CPN-Unified Socialist Party and the leader of the parliamentary party Nepal at the Federal Parliament Secretariat and handed over a 17-point concept paper. There are points in the concept paper that CJ Rana should be removed by impeachment.
The meeting was attended by CPN (Maoist) Chairman Madhav Nepal, General Secretary Beduram Bhusal and other leaders, chairperson Chandeshwar Shrestha, vice-chairperson Rakshya Basyal, General Secretary Lilamani Poudel, Senior Advocates Krishna Prasad Bhandari, Badri Bahadur Karki, Prem Bahadur Khadka, Raman Shrestha and chairperson of the Supreme Court Bar Association Purnaman Shakya were present from Bar.
