Citizens Bank branch in Murkuti, Dang
KATHMANDU: NOV. 23 – Citizens Bank International Limited has expanded its branchless banking services with the objective of providing accessible and state-of-the-art banking services to the residents of various remote areas of the country.
Meanwhile, the bank has launched the 86th branchless banking service in Murkuti, Banglachuli Rural Municipality of Dang district. Local businessman Hoti Devi Oli has been appointed as the business representative to operate the service in the area.
This branchless banking aims to provide deposit collection, payment, fund transfer, mobile phone bill payment, payment of utility services and other services provided by the bank.
The bank expects that this service will spread significant trust towards banks and banking civilization in rural areas.
Citizens Bank International Limited has been providing modern banking services to around 1.25 million customers from its 174 branches, 123 ATMs and 113 branchless banking units spread across the country.
