After the probe was launched by the govt., Patanjali stated that only the building had been inaugurated

KATHMANDU: NOV. 21 – Patanjali Yogpeeth Nepal has claimed that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba inaugurated the building a few days ago instead of a television channel.

A statement issued by the Information and Broadcasting Department after the Department of Information and Broadcasting launched an investigation into the inauguration of two television channels without permission for broadcasting.

A statement issued by Sandeep Balmiki, IT in-charge of Yogpeeth Nepal, said that despite the decision to run a TV channel to promote yoga in Nepal, permission has not been obtained and the process is still in progress.

The department had formed a four-member committee led by the director on Sunday to investigate the matter.
